So on 1st September I had the pleasure of capturing Jo and Darrens wedding at The National Brewery Centre, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
I arrived at the venue where the Groom Darren was ready and having a relaxing drink with his family and friends in the patio area. i got started doing my favourite – capturing natural candid shots of the guests mingling, having a laugh and catching up.
It wasn’t long before the Bride was due to arrive on The National Brewery Centres stunning horse drawn carriage – what an amazing way to arrive to your wedding, even more special was that Jo had her two sons with her for the ride!
The best part of Jo’s arrival was ensuring her Father was hidden from view and ready to come out and greet her at the right moment, well its safe to say it worked!
Her Fathers reaction when he saw his beautiful daughter was priceless!
The wedding went smoothly and Jo and Darrens day was as lovely as they are. Having a DJ who also assisted as master of ceremonies, games for guests to play and the use of a fantastic venue it was a lovely day for all.
The National Brewery Centre is a unique venue for a wedding with stunning features for a photographer to expose and use too their advantage.
Please don’t be put off that there are no fields or trees – there are rustic stables, stunning carriages and beautiful shire horses that live on site, there are vintage details, old wooden doors, vintage cars and stairs. The National Brewery Centre is a hidden gem in Burton.
Thanks so much Jo and Darren for allowing me to capture your day xxxx
